Future Plan of Association For Social Development (ASD)

Association For Social Development (ASD) has the following future plans for implementing innovative projects for underprivileged group of people who are less fortunate in each and every steps of their lives.

Projects Listed

Title of the Project : Vocational Training Institute (VTI) Named Khedmot.

Target group : Youth population who have no competency to get them involved in mainstreaming development.
Project Location : Bhuyapur Upazila under Tangail district.
Objective of the project:

To involve the disadvantaged group of people into Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
To make the target group as a potential actors in the job market.
To create job opportunity for the less fortunate people.

Activities:

Computer Training in both Hardware & Software.
Internet browsing and chatting.
Need based Training on different trades.

Title of the project : Rehabilitation for Old Aged Women.

Target group : Old aged women who are above 50 years, have no
land & income and their sons/daughters don�t look after them properly.
Project Location : Madhupur upazila under Tangail district.
Objective of the Project:

To rehabilitate old aged women in the society.
To make the community people aware of old people in the community.
To involve the community into the above project intervention.
To ensure proper medical check up.

Activities:

Establishing old aged women.
Daily Routine work.
Income Generation activities.

Title of the project : Establishing Community Development Center (CDC)

Target group : Rural local Community.
Project Location :Hilly areas, River breaking areas & Remote areas of Bangladesh.
Objective of the Project:

To make the communities aware of different social harms.
To reduce poverty in the community.
To involve the community into the above project intervention.
To develop cultural activities amongst the community people.

Activities:

Awareness raising activities.
Day observation & Cultural programs.
Need based training for the beneficiaries.

Title of the project : Establishing English Medium School for quality Education in the rural areas.

Objective of the Project:

To bring the underprivileged students under the same roof for quality education.
To provide better education amongst the poor but meritorious students who are not able to stay at city or town for education.

Activities:

Provide standard education same as English Medium schools at city/ town.
