Introduction:
In response to the needs of vulnerable group of people, Association For Social Development (ASD) has been implementing a huge number of innovative activities for less fortunate group of people since its inception that have been situated at different locations within the country. The key activities that are for hardcore- people have been elaborately described below.

Thirteen years as ED of ASD with responsibilities in the areas of overall management, supervision, monitoring and master minding the core activities of the organisation; liaison and co-ordination with donors, NGOs and GOB, conducting and co-ordination of international training; guiding the work of all sections of the organisations in formulating plans and their proper implementation; preparation of project proposals, budgeting and planning for staff development, staff appraisals; preparation of reports, helping development and standardisation of checklists for monitoring, supervision and evaluation; helping to design training curricula. Representing ASD nationally /internationally and preparation of strategic plans.

    Undertook 3 months’ Executive Development Program in IBA, Dhaka University, Organizer of International and National Seminar/Workshop/ Conference, Participated in different training courses on HIV/AIDS, Advocacy, Human rights, Gender development, Cooperative housing, Group formation, Savings & Micro-credit, Disability issues, Entrepreneurship development PRA training, Child & Women Rights, Reproductive health etc. 30 years experience in different International and National NGOs/ Govt. in Overall administration, Supervision, Program Monitoring, Project designing, Project Proposal Writing; Report writing and documentation, preparing training module, translating from Bengali into English and vice versa of different documents, Disaster Management, Relief & Rehabilitation, conducted training on HIV/AIDS, advocacy to the beneficiaries and the staff and the community, Mass Education, Feature writing in the English Dailies and journals.
